My name is Aida Uzunovic
and I am certified Personal&Business Coach, NLP Coach, and CBT Therapist accredited and approved by American Psychological Association, American Board of NLP, and Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) Dubai.
I am also a member of German Coaching Association.
I was born in 1981 in Bosnia, a country shaped by its mix of nationalities, religions, and beliefs. Growing up, I never questioned what “home” meant—it was familiar, rooted, and constant. But life had different plans.
In my mid-20s, I met my husband, fell in love, got married, and moved to Vienna. Over the years, the two of us—and later, our two sons—became global citizens, living without a permanent residence. While exciting, this journey also challenged my sense of belonging. I often wondered: Where do I truly fit in?
Being exposed to different countries, customs, and ways of life turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It deepened my understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures, mindsets, and beliefs—and, more importantly, it taught me that home isn’t a place, but a feeling of connection and meaning.
As an Economics graduate majoring in financial accounting, I spent over 14 years working in the corporate world, from finance and sourcing to legal and analytics. I held roles in different companies, across different countries, learning firsthand about resilience, leadership, performance, teamwork, and the elusive work-life balance.
It helped me realize that, despite our different paths, we all ultimately crave the same things—safety, belonging, and significance.
But it wasn’t until I began volunteering as a social worker and life advisor for nonprofit organizations that I truly found my calling. Through this work, I discovered the beauty and impact of coaching. It quickly became an endless source of inspiration, one that I couldn’t ignore. So, I made a bold decision: I left the corporate world to fully dedicate myself to learning, studying, and training in personal and business coaching.
I earned my coaching certification from Studiengemeinschaft Darmstadt in Germany, and within a few years, I built my own successful coaching practice.
My expertise comes from extensive training in coaching methods, philosophy, and psychology, but my experience in both the corporate and personal development worlds gives me a unique perspective. This allows me to design personalized coaching programs tailored to each client’s needs.
I strongly believe in continuous growth—not just for my clients, but for myself. Every year, I invest in broadening my skills and deepening my knowledge. As a member of the German Coaching Association, I also engage in ongoing supervision and reciprocal coaching with fellow professional coaches.
At my core, I’m a positive, down-to-earth, and empathetic person. I value honesty, creativity, and dedication above all else.
